This website is an all in one all about Glogster and how to use it effectively in the classroom. The website lists the benefits of Glogster and one major benefit they list is that this type of tool is an all in one stop for the classroom with engaging visuals with links and videos able to be embedded.

This website is all about Glogster and it claims that this type of digital learning trumps power points since Glogster is interactive. Pointing out this difference I would have to agree that a poster type of learning activity that can engage students in the technology is much better than just watching a slide show and taking notes.

using concept maps in the classroom
It will be easy to incorporate concept maps into the social studies curriculum. I can see using them as introductory guides to illustrate the timeline of events and leaving areas blank for students to fill in areas as leaning is happening. Having students create their own concept maps as a form of assessment to gauge their knowledge would be an easy way to see where students are still struggling with information and where students understand knowledge well.
