is a great article about Pod casting and how it has changed only slightly over time but the basic bones are the same. It is one voice without the visuals that go along with television.

using pod casts in the classroom
I really like the idea of podcasting especially lectures then students can go back and listen to the lessons again if needed. However I am a visual person and so I would always video myself as well. That way students can go to my teacher website and choose either source for the information.
